Senior Functional Consultant

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Functional Consultant will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and improving the organization’s ERP systems, particularly Odoo. The role involves analyzing internal business processes, identifying system improvement opportunities, troubleshooting functional issues, and ensuring effective ERP implementation and support across departments such as Finance, Inventory, HR, and Procurement. The consultant will work closely with technical teams and internal users to ensure systems align with business requirements and operational needs.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Required Experience:

• Above 4 years of experience in ERP implementation and/or support.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with in-house or custom-built systems.
• Basic understanding of Odoo development, including Python and XML.
• Experience in process improvement or business analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments.
• Experience supporting internal ERP users (not client-facing).
• Hands-on experience with Odoo (functional or techno-functional).
• Strong understanding of internal business processes, including Finance, Inventory, HR, and Procurement.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills for working with non-technical users.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and reporting tools.
