Job Purpose

To manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and CCTV/security systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services. The Senior IT Officer provides technical support, troubleshoots IT issues, oversees system installations and maintenance, and ensures the effective use and security of IT resources.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 5 year of progressive experience in the field

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining computers, servers, printers, and network equipment

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software

• Managing operating systems, applications, and software licenses

• Providing technical support to staff

• Monitoring IT infrastructure, security, backups, CCTV/security systems and system performance

• Diagnosing and repairing hardware and software problems

• Managing IT assets and equipment inventory

• Supporting network and internet connectivity

• Implementing cyber security and access-control measures

• Preparing IT reports, documentation, and maintenance schedules

• Supervising junior IT staff and coordinating IT projects
