  2. Job summary  

The senior Procurement officer, under the overall leadership of the Procurement Division, is responsible for the operational duties of the division like preparing Procurement reports, gathering Procurement data, and follows up the implementation of Procurement standards throughout the company. S/he conducts major purchases of property and services; ensures proper deign and maintenance of suppliers’ lists; ensures the completion of proper banking and insurance documents for procurement; ensures compilation of performaas in the case of purchase requirements; and submits reports periodically.

Job Requirements

Position Requirement  

1. Academic requirement: MA/MSc/BSc/BA in Supply Chain Management/ Procurmentmgt,  Mgt  

2.  Work experience: 4/6 years’ experience in designing and processing effective procurement system in large entities with engineering and construction sector involvement is advantageous. Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing procurement manuals, systems, policies and standards is a benefit.  

3. Desirable training: Procurement management tools like ERP, MRP, MPS, etc.
