Job Summary

The Senior Systems and Infrastructure Officer keeps NTPLC's network, servers, cloud infrastructure, and security infrastructure available and secure across the head office and branches, with Lemi as the operating base.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and inter-branch connectivity.

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, Active Directory, email, and file services.

• Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, access control, and patching in line with the IT security policy.

• Operate backup, disaster recovery, and business-continuity procedures; test restores regularly.

• Monitor system and network performance and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.

• Support infrastructure for Odoo ERP, GPS, biometric attendance, and CCTV systems.

• Manage ICT vendors, ISPs, and service-level agreements; maintain asset and configuration records.

• Document network diagrams and procedures, and support users at the Lemi site.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in network and system administration in a multi-site environment.

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSA/Microsoft Azure, Fortinet NSE or CompTIA Security+ are an advantage.
