Job Description
We are seeking a Sponsorship Manager who is gifted at working with children, has proven experience managing a team and has outstanding communication skills.
Stand by Me has a well established sponsorship programme and the Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for managing their team to collate information from children, their family members and Stand by Me staff members to prepare correspondence and updates for donors. The Sponsorship Manager will also proactively make improvements to their department and work collaboratively with other managers to contribute to the wider success of the project.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in English, Journalism/Communication, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Management or other related field
Minimum 6 years experience in administrative position
Previous experience in people management/leadership role
Essential
Excellent communication skills and fluently able to speak, write and read English, Afaan Oromo & Amharic
Computer literate and with excellent typing skills
Experienced of working with Microsoft Office programmes (specifically MS Word, Excel and Access)
Experienced and confident in working directly with children aged 6 – 18
Motivated, organised and diligent
Excellent time management skills and able to produce work to a set deadline
