Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for installing, operating, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the building's electrical, plumbing, power generation, and passenger lift systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The role involves troubleshooting technical faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, and ensuring all systems operate in compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of sanitary (plumbing) systems.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the JCB 630A generator to ensure reliable power supply.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of Unit passenger lift systems.
- Diagnose technical faults and perform timely corrective maintenance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical emergencies.
- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Technology, General Mechanics, Building Services, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in electrical and sanitary (plumbing) systems.
- Proven ability to operate and maintain a JCB 630A generator.
- Practical exposure to the operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of Unit passenger lift systems.
