Job Summary

DR.AZ GROUP CO. LTD is seeking a skilled Chinese translator to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for translating a variety of documents, websites, and other content from Chinese to English and Amharic, and vice versa. Proficiency in additional language is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Translate written and verbal communications from Chinese to English and Amharic, ensuring that the original meaning, tone, and context are effectively conveyed, review and edit translated materials for grammatical accuracy, clarity and coherence, ensuring high quality output, efficiently manage time to meet deadlines while handling multiple translation projects, work collaboratively with other project managers to ensure consistency and quality across projects. Provide cultural insights to enhance translation accuracy and relevance.

Qualification

• Excellent proficiency in Chinese, English and Amharic.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and context in all three languages.
• Proficient in using translation software and tools.
• Exceptional attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of additional language is also a plus.

Education

• A degree in any field is acceptable if the candidate has the necessary language translation skills.
