1. Install, assemble, and test plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, water heaters, and appliances.

2.  Diagnose and repair issues in plumbing systems, such as leaks, clogs, and damaged pipes. Perform routine maintenance to prevent potential problems.

3. Ensure a reliable and consistent water supply by connecting pipes to public or private water sources and distributing water throughout buildings.

4. Set up drainage systems to remove waste and sewage efficiently. Clear clogs and obstructions in drains and sewer lines.

5.  Interpret building plans and specifications to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems in new construction or renovations.

6.  Ensure that all plumbing work complies with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and health standards.

7. Utilize various tools and techniques to detect and locate leaks in pipes and plumbing systems, making necessary repairs.

8. Install, repair, and maintain lines in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

9. Communicate with clients to understand their plumbing needs, provide estimates for services, and offer professional advice on plumbing-related matters.

10. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any relevant notes.

11. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to protect yourself, team members, and clients from accidents and potential hazards.

College Diploma + TVET level IV with 1 year of experience or TVET level III with 3 years of experience or TVET level II with 6 years of experience
