This position is responsible for assisting the Company Secretary in the day-to-day secretarial functions as well as effectively coordinating all related tasks in a timely manner.
Major duties of the Assistant Company Secretary
- Compile and edit information on Board of Directors (BoD) for KYC/Compliance to ensure that Funders/Investors get accurate information about the Bank
- Ensure timely availability and distribution of board submissions to the BoD.
- Serve as the primary coordinator and custodian of board-related documents and records.
- Organize and facilitate Bank Management Committee meetings, including accurate record-keeping.
- Assist the Company Secretary with Board and Board Committee affairs and statutory compliance.
- Maintain and safeguard statutory records, ensuring accurate and timely information provision.
- Prepare documents for certification by the Company Secretary.
- Communicate logistical arrangements and information to Board Executives for meetings, trainings, and tours.
- Coordinate meeting facilities, dispatch of submissions, and logistics for BoD meetings.
- Negotiate with suppliers to manage quality services within budget for BoD activities.
- Provide input for budgeting related to Board matters.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Company Secretary.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, management or related fields.
Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience with 1 year as Senior Officer as a Professional/Expert.
