The Human Resource Head will lead the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of human capital, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Advise senior management on human capital planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Lead workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
- Oversee the recruitment and on boarding process to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead employee performance management systems, including appraisal cycles and KPIs.
- Develop and monitor HR policies, procedures, and compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.
- Manage compensation and benefits structure to ensure competitiveness and equity.
- Drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention strategies.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Ensure accurate and secure employee data and documentation handling.
- Ensure full compliance with all labor and employment laws in Ethiopia.
- Manage internal investigations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling fairly and legally.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant government authorities
Qualififcations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field .
- More than 5 years of relevant experience
