 Purpose of the Job:

To support Nisir’s business strategy by ensuring efficient and effective performance of IT projects via overseeing all aspects of IT projects to be completed on time and within their specified budgets.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, budget and deliverables.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees.
• Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
• Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and control using the defined project management tools.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Track project progress and budget, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Manage and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advancements and best practices in project management.
• Establishes the environments and tools required to execute quality assurance to detect software defects. 
• Establishes quality standards and procedures to be employed throughout software development and IT projects implementation process.
• Coordinate project quality assurance and System Integration and User Acceptance Test teams.
• Monitors and record test progress and results and assesses QA and Test team performance.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Perform manual and automated testing.
• Document test cases.
• Code automated tests.
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with the software development team to identify system requirements.
• Discover bugs within software. 
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

 Qualification and Experience required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields with three (3) years and four (4) years of relevant experience for a MSc and BSc, respectively.
