Position: HR & Admin Manager
Type: Fixed-Term Contract 
Location: Addi Ababa HO
Reports To: Deputy CEO / Corporate Services Head

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR & Admin Manager to cover maternity leave for a period of 6 months. The role holder will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources and Administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes.
  • Support line managers in workforce planning, talent management, and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll inputs, employee benefits, and HR reporting in coordination with Finance.
  • Drive employee engagement, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, facilities management, and staff welfare.
  • Manage service contracts, suppliers, and office resources to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping, documentation, and smooth operation of administrative processes.
  • Support health, safety, and compliance initiatives across the workplace.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ progressive HR and Admin experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with the capacity to engage at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
