K.Mikedem General Import and Export and sister companies (KKGW,KROTAJ, PORCHLIGHT and Meseret K/Mariam(Midea Electronics) are looking for Senior HVAC Engineer.

The Senior HVAC Engineer will be responsible for managing the full cycle of HVAC projects, including system design review, installation supervision, commissioning, and after-sales technical support. The role also involves providing technical guidance for product selection, training sales teams, and ensuring all HVAC projects meet quality, performance, and safety standards..

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Provide technical support for product selection, ensuring optimal system design and efficiency based on project requirements.
• Manage HVAC project timelines, budgets, and quality control from planning to handover.
• Prepare and review design layouts, material submittals, and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Supervise and guide technicians and contractors during system installation and commissioning.
• Conduct training sessions for sales and technical teams to enhance product knowledge and promote correct system application.
• Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to align product offerings with market and project needs.
• Prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, and client presentations.
• Provide after-sales technical assistance, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of proven experience in HVAC system design, installation, and project supervision.
• Strong knowledge of VRF/VRV systems, chillers, duct units, ventilation, and control systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP.
• Understanding of international standards and best practices (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience with Midea or other global HVAC brands is an added advantage
