Position Purpose 

Professional with experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electric vehicles,
electric vehicle repair and maintenance. The role involves advanced troubleshooting of the company's systems including battery, motor and software problems, to provide efficient and effective after-sales support.

• Maintenance and service: Carry out regular maintenance on electric vehicles in accordance
  according to the manufacturer's specifications and the company's standards, including routine checks, software updates and parts replacements. 
• System updates: Apply the necessary software updates and firmware installations for the company's electric vehicle brands under the dealership's coverage, ensuring that the vehicles are up and running with the right technology and operating at optimum performance.
• Customer relations: Engaging professionally with customers, explaining diagnoses and
  explaining diagnoses and repair results clearly and building trust through reliable service.
• Diagnose customer concerns, make recommendations based on diagnosis, inspect EV for condition and recommend repairs based on condition and service needs and service history
• Documentation: Keeping accurate records of all diagnostic results, repairs and
  services carried out, ensuring compliance with company standards and company
  regulatory standards.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other technicians, engineers and Workshop/Service managers to
  solve complex problems and provide continuous improvement in service quality.
• Training and development: Keeping up to date with advances in technology, diagnostic tools and repair techniques..
• Perform installation, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and software updates on EV charging units of various makes and models
• Diagnostic tools and repair techniques, contributing to knowledge sharing and training efforts within the team

Qualifications : BSC Degree in Automotive Engineering  

Experience:  At least seven years of relevant work experience  in Automotive Industry   

Technical Skills:      

• Expert knowledge of electric vehicle diagnostic tools (e.g. Launch X431, AutelMaxiSYS), battery systems, motor control and high-voltage components.
• Familiarity with electric vehicle-specific software and firmware updates.
• Understanding of safety protocols for dealing with high-voltage EV systems.
• Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical and software problems.
