ZAMG Business Plc is a multisectoral company. One of its companies; a Dairy Processing Company, is currently dedicated to producing high-quality pasteurized milk and dairy products that meet national and international food safety standards. We are committed to ensuring product safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction through the implementation of robust quality and food safety systems. To strengthen our quality management team, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead all QA and QC functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP, and other regulatory standards.

• Supervise, monitor and coordinate daily quality control and assurance activities throughout the production process; inspection of raw milk reception, processing, and finished products release.

• Ensure compliance with national food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Plan and execute internal audits, laboratory tests, process verification, supplier evaluations and external certification processes.

• Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process, and final products (microbiological, chemical, and sensory analysis).

• Prepare and submit regular QA performance reports to management.

• Establish, update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality manuals for quality assurance and product testing.

• Monitor product quality parameters, analyze non conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain departments to ensure consistent product quality.

• Provide, mentor and manage training for production and QA staff on hygiene, sanitation, and quality control practices.

• Maintain proper documentation and traceability for all QA processes.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Post Harvest Technology, Food Process Engineering, Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition or Applied Chemistry.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within the food processing industry. Experience in Dairy processing industry is an asset.

• Proven knowledge of ISO 22000 / HACCP / GMP / FSMS implementation and auditing. 

• Experience in laboratory operations and data interpretation.

• Experience in microbiological and chemical analysis of milk and dairy products.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software is an advantage.
