Federation of Ethiopian Associations of Persons with Disability (FEAPD) would like to hire competent professionals for the following positions in contractual basis for its project.

Key roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the implementation of the project according to the working plan and execute project activities to ensure timely completion and achievement of expected results.
  • Implement appropriate and timely monitoring, evaluation, and reporting procedures for the project. 
  • Ensure the timely production and submission of high-quality activity implementation reports to the donor's focal person and the reporting line manager at FEAPD.
  • Contribute to the preparation of work plans and financial progress reports as required by the Federation.
  • Maintain records of significant achievements and overall project activity progress, and properly file project documents.
  • Provide technical expertise to the planning and program department to ensure proper planning, budgeting, and reporting on the implementation of various projects/programs.
  • Contribute to the generation of project ideas, lessons/case stories and the development of projects in various development themes.
  • Ensure disability, age and gender among consortium partners
  • Perform other similar duties as directed by the reporting line manager

Salary:  Negotiable,

Gender:  Male or Female

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, and Development Studies, special needs, Management, Economics, Agricultural Economics or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience for Bachelor's degree holders and 1 years for Master's degree holders.
  • Experience in coordinating project implementation, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in community development and disability.
  • Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of programming and program management, including fundraising, program development, proposal writing, monitoring & evaluation, donor relations, local partnerships, capacity strengthening, safeguarding, and PSEA.
  • Ability to work within a team, motivate others, resolve conflicts, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing professional documents and delivering presentations to different audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible, work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Good knowledge and experience in project management procedures and systems.
  • Familiarity with national, regional, and international policies and legal frameworks related to disabilities and persons with disabilities, older people and gender.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with team members, colleagues, members, external partners, and supporters.
  • Values diversity and sees it as a source of competitive strength.
  • Approachable, good listener, and easy to talk to.

  • Adheres to FEAPD's beliefs, values, and code of conduct, particularly regarding persons with disabilities, children, older people and other vulnerable individual
