Moreover, it distributed such products to local market. Nowadays, in line with government trade, marketing and development strategies, it strives to produce world class products of having high demand. This effort has allowed it to start to generate foreign currency and create job opportunity for 450 Ethiopian youths. Now it is seeking a qualified shift Mechanic Welder. This welder ensures the smooth operation of the machineries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate information about Material availability

• Maintain the outlook of the site through dusting, cleaning &maintain a clean and organize work area.

• Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems 

• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports.

• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards 

• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery systems

• Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.

• Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

• Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

• Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.

• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.

• Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine.

• Ensure preparedness and response to emergency situations and accidents..

• Perform additional tasks as per his supervisor’s direction

• Develop matured food safety culture of the management, employees and relevant interested parties. 

• Periodically monitor measure, analyze and evaluate the food safety management systems compliance and enhance performance.

• Continually validate, verify, review, improve and update the food safety management system for the continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the system.

• Establish, implement, document, maintain and continually improve the food safety management system (ISO 22000) in the operations.

• Assist senior mechanic and welder in performing welding and mechanical tasks

• Perform basic mechanical task such as repairing and maintaining equipment

• Doing any factory fabrication work

• Exercise effective communication with staff both vertical and horizontal
• Organize stockholders for mutual benefit

Educational Background: 

• Level III and above by industrial Mechanic, Metal Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related Field of studies

Experience:

• 1 year and above
• Attention to details, data analysis and record keeping
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making, and
• Good communication skill, 
• Knowhow on GMP, ISO Standards (FSMS ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015)
