 Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with at least 8 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting functions, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.

• Prepare cost reports and financial statements to support management decisions.

• Monitor and control expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets.

• Conduct variance analysis between actual costs and standard costs.

• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency.

• Assist in preparing forecasts, budgets, and financial planning.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement.

 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA certification preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
