Set daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual objectives and communicate them to employees

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Oversee and coach employees

Submit reports on performance and progress

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Supervise the activities of the shift production operation

Ensure efficient & effective utilization of resources during production 

Implementing the necessary working procedures, work instruction and record forms for managing the shift  production control system;

Ensuring smooth and conducive working environment;

Responsible to ensure that environment, health and safety requirements are followed.

Performing conflict handling tasks whenever the need arises among employees of the plant during shift operations;

Check whether the production is gone according to product quality specifications; 

Coordinate the implementation of the appropriate solutions for problems identified during the shift production process with involvement and participation of appropriate staff and maintenance staff as required;

Organize and analyze data about machinery performance including down times for the shift operation; 

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
