Job Summary

CCECC Ethiopian Branch is seeking experienced Chinese Translators to support our operations by facilitating communication between Chinese and English-speaking teams. The successful candidates will provide accurate translations during daily meetings, handle Chinese and English documents, and assist with other translation or language-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Provide real-time translation during daily meetings and discussions
Translate Chinese documents into English and vice versa with high accuracy
Assist in preparing bilingual reports, presentations, and correspondence
Support the team with language-related tasks assigned by the supervisor
Ensure cultural and contextual accuracy in all translations
Maintain confidentiality of all company-related information

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or related field
Fluent in both Chinese and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience preferred
Familiarity with technical or construction-related terminology is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under tight deadlines
Team-oriented and able to collaborate with multicultural teams
