Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily inspection to ensure that employee’s hygiene and compound sanitation are up to the policy of the company.

2. Make inspection and report to ensure that there are proper management waste materials in the compound and sewerage lines.

3. Make inspection and report on disposing of any hazardous waste correctly and ensuring that there is no garbage left on the production area, warehouse and compound.

4. Make inspection and report as proper orientation given to finished goods (food) handlers’ employees to wash their hands and face, and clean their nails after defecation by soap.

5. Make inspection and report that as food handler’s employees are complying food safety standards. 

6. Make inspection and report that the production and warehouse floors are free from scrapes or debris or grease or any other wastes and cleaned by proper cleaning materials. 

7. Conduct inspection to check whether productions and warehouse’s floors, walls, roofs, the machines, compound, sewerage lines, offices, bathrooms, toilets, change rooms, employee’s canteen and water tanks are cleaned from micro-organisms, dusts, scraps, moisture, pests, rodent droplets and any other wastes on daily basis.

8. Make audit that the wastes collected from the company are removed and disposed on time following the sanitation procedure of the company.

9.   Make audit and report on utilization of the cleaning materials.

10. Make audit and report whether the cleaning material coding is implemented and maintained as per the company requirement. 

11. Make periodic audit to check whether the company is complying the environment policy and standards. 

12. Follow up and report the implementation of the environmental management plan based on the approved Environmental and social Impact Assessment (ESIA) document of the company.

13. Make audit and report that as the company complies the following food safety rules and regulations:

    • Read and understand the food safety policy of the company.

    • Understand and effectively implement the food safety rule and regulation of the company. 

    • Report any act, behavior, non-conformance and deviation from food safety to the food safety team leader.

14. Performs any additional jobs given by immediate supervisor

• Qualification: BSc degree in environmental science or public health or food engineering or any other related qualification 

• Work Experience: -2 (Two) year and above in similar role only in manufacturing industry
