1. Sales Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales and profitability targets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Prepare annual sales forecasts and budgets aligned with business goals.
• Set sales targets and monitor performance against goals.
2. Business Development
• Identify and develop new customers, partnerships, and business channels.
• Promote company products to contractors, government entities, and private clients.
• Lead negotiations and close major deals with key clients.
• Explore opportunities for product diversification and expansion into new markets.
3. Stock management:
• Ensure that a pipeline of stock is readily available in accordance with business plan, customer supply and demand needs.
• Manage the ordering, procurement, stocking, and ageing of stock to minimize any obsolescence or stock shortages.
4. Sales process:
• Manage and implement sales process to drive customer excitement, deliver an amazing customer experience and build relationships.
• Manage and monitor the follow-up of potential sales customers from both the existing customer base and new prospect lists in order to actively promote vehicle sales and close deals in order to meet monthly sales goals for self and team.
5. Manufacturer’s relationship:
• Maintain consistent communication with the manufacturer and build a relationship to drive acceptance and reliance on the dealership to maintain profitability, drive efficiencies and maximize benefits for dealership and suppliers.
6. Team Management
• Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance.
• Assign territories, set sales quotas, and track team performance.
• Conduct regular sales meetings and provide feedback and coaching.
7. Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Ensure timely response to customer inquiries, proposals, and after-sales issues.
• Coordinate with service, logistics, and finance teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to management.
• Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve pricing and sales strategies.
Qualification :
Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience :
Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in equipment trading, construction machinery, automotive, or industrial products
