Job Summary

Under the supervision of Plant Manager, the Technique Manager is responsible to plan, organize, coordinate and control the overall technical activities of the plant.

Detailed Job Description of the Technique Manager 

• Under the directive of the Plant Manager, he/she plans, organizes, directs, schedules and coordinates the general Engineering, Maintenance and Technical aspects of the plant;

• Formulates and implements effective, efficient, economical and safe methods to maintain the utilization of all the Machineries and assets of the plant;

• Assists and closely works with the Plant manager concerning issues related to all the engineering and technical works, which are: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Special Projects, implemented/executed in the Plant;

• Plan frequently wearing spare parts, critical spare parts, vital technical tools/instruments and other technical Inputs/consumables required for the plant maintenance, which will be purchased and fulfilled after reaching consensus with the Plant Manager;

• Prepare the Technique department Programs, SOPs, Operational formats and budgets, and implement them upon their respective approval;

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing the organization’s standards and code of conducts;

• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of Control, and budgetary and personnel requirements and also implements changes that would add value to the company’s growth, safety and profitability;

• Ensures that health and safety regulations are met in accordance with the country’s & company’s health and safety Procedures at all times;

• Reviews subordinate’s performances regularly, fills out their performance appraisal, train/capacitate them and Support them to achieve their objectives in the company’s goals;

• Monitors the proper implementation of company’s policies and procedures at all times;

• Assists the HR team concerning the department’s recruitment and staffing activities; and

• Accomplishes other activities assigned to him/her related to the Technical capability and efficiency of the plant.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• BSC degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering in recognized university 

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in bottling and beverage industry as a Technique/Engineering Manager, out of which 3+ years in Technical supervisor position. Proven track record of executing accounting tasks effectively and successfully.

• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Proven ability to plan and manage technical downtime and increase efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
• Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines.
