Job Purpose:- The Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical care, first aid, and health support services to employees at Gelana Farm, ensuring workplace health, safety, and wellbeing in accordance with company policies and health standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic medical treatment to employees in case of illness or injury
• Monitor and record employees’ health conditions and provide follow-up care when required
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per medical guidelines
• Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and treatment logs
• Respond promptly to workplace accidents and emergencies
• Refer serious cases to nearby hospitals or health facilities and coordinate referrals
• Conduct basic health awareness sessions (hygiene, safety, disease prevention)
• Ensure availability and proper use of medical supplies and first-aid equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic/medical room
• Support occupational health and safety initiatives at the farm
• Report health-related issues to management and HR as required

Qualifications & Education

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution

Experience

• Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience (experience in farm, site, or industrial settings is an advantage)

Other Requirements

• Good knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and basic clinical care
• Ability to work independently in a remote or farm environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours if required
