Job Summary

The Senior ERP Support Specialist is responsible for end-to-end support, stabilization, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the company’s ERP system (SAP Business One). The role ensures reliable day-to-day system operation, supports all business modules, drives system adoption, and delivers enhancements, integrations, and reports aligned with business needs. The position works closely with all business users and external partners to maximize ERP value and ensure process compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Support & Operations

• Provide functional and technical support for all SAP Business One modules, including Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, and Fixed Assets.
• Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Support period-end and year-end activities in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.
• Implement system improvements to align ERP functionality with evolving business processes.
• Manage change requests from business users, including impact analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and support integration between SAP Business One and external systems using REST APIs and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain operational and management reports using SQL queries and reporting tools.
• Support business users with data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and decision-support requirements.
• Ensure consistency and reliability of ERP-generated reports across departments.
• Provide hands-on support, guidance, and training to business users at all levels.
• Prepare and maintain user guides, SOPs, and ERP-related documentation.
• Actively support user adoption and system dependency as a single source of truth.
• Work closely with business users to align ERP processes with operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience working with world-class ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Proven experience supporting and enhancing ERP systems in a manufacturing-focused environment.
• Experience working with enterprise system customization, integration, or development.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of how ERP systems function end-to-end across business processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One SDK development.
• Strong SQL skills for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of business processes with solid accounting knowledge.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical ERP solutions.
• Experience supporting cross-functional users in a live ERP environment.

Soft Skills & Competencies

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users.

High sense of ownership and accountability for system stability and improvement
