Job Summary

The Boilermaker is responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing metal structures, boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels, ensuring safe and efficient operation in accordance with engineering standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, boilers, tanks, pipes, and pressure vessels.

• Perform cutting, shaping, bending, and welding of metal components.

• Repair and maintain boilers and other heavy metal equipment.

• Inspect completed work for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments safely and correctly.

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company procedures, and relevant regulations.

• Identify defects and carry out corrective actions.

• Work closely with welders, fitters, and maintenance teams.

• Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.

Education: Diploma in General Mechanic or related field of study 

Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry.
