JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking highly qualified and passionate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join our digital high school education project. SMEs will play a critical role in designing and

producing interactive, engaging, and visually attractive online lessons for Grades 9–12. The ideal candidates will combine deep subject knowledge with creativity and instructional design awareness to deliver high-quality learning experiences tailored to diverse student

needs.

WORK RELATIONSHIPS

In addition to working under the direct supervision of the Curriculum and Quality

Assurance, the SME shall work collaboratively with the Media Engineer towards ensuring the successful accomplishment of their assigned task under the scope of the work.

SCOPE OF WORK/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The SME, therefore, shall:

• Develop curriculum-aligned lesson content that is accurate, clear, and engaging for high school learners.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, editors, and multimedia specialists to create

interactive and visually appealing lessons.

• Ensure lessons incorporate active learning strategies (quizzes, case studies, simulations, problem-solving tasks).
• Adapt complex subject matter into student-friendly explanations and examples.
• Maintain consistency with project standards, workflows, and quality assurance guidelines.
• Meet production timelines and contribute to the continuous improvement of lesson design.
• Develop an online Lecture Plan for the course assigned, with a breakdown of the entire course into lecture sessions that can span 10-15 minutes.
• Prepare lecture contents for each lecture session contained in the Lecture Plan, using the OA’s PowerPoint Template by incorporating the necessary multimedia content such as video, graphics, etc.
• Submit the lecture contents in PowerPoint to the Curriculum and Quality Assurance Department.
• Engage in video recording as presenter and narrator of the lecture session, in accordance with the Digital Content Production Guideline of Oneness Academy, and in consultation with One Planet Media and the Quality Control Team.
• Prepare the text that will be narrated or facilitated during the video lecture, in the format that complies with the OA standard.
• Adhere to the Digital Content Production Guideline of OA.
• Dedicate at least half a day of the five days in two weeks to content development and recording.
• Review and approve the recording and the edited video production for each lecture.

DELIVERABLE

The SME shall produce and/or document as applicable:

1. Lesson Plan for each lesson before working on the PPTs
2. Oral and Video presentation for each lesson in a unit, where a session shall not exceed 10 minutes.
3. Edited and interactively prepared transcript used for the Teleprompter of each session
4. PowerPoint Slide used for each session in both PPT and MPEG (video file) format.

Positions Required

• English teachers, preferably native speakers or native-like speakers Qualifications
• Strong academic background in the relevant subject area (Bachelor’s minimum, Master’s preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching or curriculum development at the high school level.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, or interactive content creation is an advantage.
• Commitment to educational integrity, creativity, and learner engagement.
