Location: Addis Ababa, # of Openings: 2 
1. Education 

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electrical Engineering/computer studies or related field  Relevant professional certifications (VMware, Microsoft, HPE, Cisco, Red 

2. Experience

a. Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience in system engineering, infrastructure design, and enterprise IT environments.
b. Proven experience working with both virtualized and non-virtualized environments, including HCI/dHCI, OpenStack, hybrid cloud platforms, SAAS, and traditional three-tier SAN architectures.
c. Experience in data center operations, system deployment, migration, and troubleshooting.

3. Technical Skills

a. Experience in server platforms (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, or equivalent) and enterprise storage systems.
b. Experience in virtualization and private/hybrid cloud platforms such as Hyper-V, vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack, KVM, and KubeVirt. Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, or equivalent).
c. Understanding of networking fundamentals ( routing, switching, firewalls and bonding).
d. Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
e. Familiarity with monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
f. Excellent communication and follow-up in onboarding new vendor partners and strengthening relationships with existing ones. 

4. Design & Documentation

a. Ability to prepare strong and winning RFP responses, including compliance matrices, technical write-ups, and cost-optimized yet fully compliant sizing.

b. Ability to prepare and review design documents like HLD, LLD, implementation plans, and as-built documentation.
c. Experience supporting UAT, system handover, and knowledge transfer sessions.

5. Operations & Support

a. Ability to lead installation, configuration, migration, and commissioning of infrastructure solutions.
b. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues under pressure.

6. Soft Skills

a. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
b. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
c. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

7. Additional Advantage

a. Experience working on large-scale enterprise or financial projects.
b. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments).

Education & Experiences: 

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science/IT/Electrical Engineering/computer studies or related field 
o Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, Huawei, VMware, HPE, Microsoft, Fortinet, CheckPoint, and Cisco certifications, are highly desired, strong emphasis in SD Network and Cyber Security experience is required.
o Minimum 2 years hands on experience in maintenance, operation, troubleshooting design, implementation and management of Cyber Security systems.
