Audit Manager

Job Summary

The Audit Manager is responsible for planning, leading, and managing internal audit activities to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan.

• Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning to reporting.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.

• Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.

• Prepare and present audit reports to senior management.

• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and auditing standards.

• Mentor and supervise audit staff.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.

• A Master’s Degree is an advantage.

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience.

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software.
