Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the branch to ensure smooth functioning, compliance with policies, and achievement of business targets. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and excellent customer service skills to support loan disbursement, recovery, resource mobilization and overall branch performance.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the branch's daily operations to ensure efficient delivery of savings and loan services.
· Monitor and support resource mobilization initiatives, including savings account growth, to achieve branch resource mobilization targets.
· Oversee the loan process from application and appraisal to approval, disbursement, and recovery in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
· Monitor portfolio quality by tracking loan performance, delinquency, arrears, and recovery activities, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards in all branch activities.
· Supervise branch staff, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide coaching and operational support.
· Verify the accuracy and completeness of savings, loan, and cash transactions while ensuring proper documentation and record management.
· Prepare and submit periodic operational, financial, and portfolio performance reports to management.
· Manage branch cash operations, reconcile daily transactions, and ensure adequate internal controls and security of cash and assets.
· Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high standards of customer service.
· Identify operational risks and implement appropriate controls to minimize financial and compliance risks.
· Collaborate with all branch team to support business growth, customer acquisition, and achievement of branch performance targets.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
· Two (2) and Four (4) years of relevant experience for Masters and Bachelor respectively with hands - on experience in Senior/supervisory roles.
· Location: Addis Ababa,
· Salary: As per the company scale (Attractive)
