The Ethiopian Tourist Trading Enterprise (ETTE), established in 1964, is a government-owned enterprise dedicated to promoting Ethiopia’s rich cultural heritage and supporting the nation’s tourism sector. With over six decades of experience, ETTE operates a network of duty-free and duty-paid retail outlets, offering a diverse range of products including handicrafts, souvenirs, electronics, and luxury goods. The enterprise also engages in the production of traditional Ethiopian art and crafts, aiming to showcase the country’s unique cultural identity to both domestic and international customers. Through its commitment to quality service and cultural promotion, ETTE plays a significant role in enhancing Ethiopia’s image and contributing to its economic development.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing brand guidelines, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all materials

• Design and execute promotional activities for product launches, seasonal offers, and cultural events.

• Collaborate with graphic designers, printers, and vendors to produce high-quality promotional materials.

• Support partnerships and co-branding initiatives with tourism operators and cultural institutions.

• Monitor the visibility of ETTE’s brand in retail outlets, online platforms, and public events.etc

What We’re Looking For

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field

Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in branding or promotional activities

• Experience in retail or cultural product promotion is an advantage.

Contract Type: This is a permanent position.
