Business Unit Manager

Job Description

• Deliver the volume and revenue plan for the business unit by brand, pack and month, phased to the local trading cycle.

• Manage the distributors operating in the territory — stock cover, coverage, credit, order discipline and compliance with the distributor agreement — and escalate performance failures with evidence.

• Deliver numeric distribution, availability and picture of success targets across the outlet universe in the territory

• Lead, deploy, coach and hold accountable the Distribution Coordinators and, through them, the Market Activation Leads.

• Plan, secure approval for and report free issue and market investment through the three control points, and ensure market reports reconcile to approval letters.

• Maintain the register of returnable packaging, CO₂ cylinders and cold equipment in the territory, and drive recovery of assets held by distributors and outlets.

• Report competitor activity, pricing in trade, and market developments accurately and promptly.

• Represent Kegna with local authorities, trade associations and key outlets, and ensure the business unit operates within law and company policy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or a related field.

• Minimum eight years in FMCG or beverage field sales, of which at least three managing a sales team and third-party distributors across a defined geography.
