Job Summary

NLMC is seeking a qualified Cardiac Nurse to provide specialised nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, supporting assessment, monitoring, treatment, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with cardiovascular diseases.

• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and ECG findings within the scope of competence.

  Advertisement

• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and monitor treatment responses.

• Recognise signs of cardiac deterioration and escalate emergencies promptly.

• Support cardiac investigations and procedures as assigned.

• Educate patients on medication adherence, lifestyle modification, and follow-up care.

• Maintain accurate clinical records and collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• ,MSC/BSc Degree in Nursing.

• Valid professional nursing licence.

• 3–5 years of relevant hospital experience, preferably in a cardiac unit, coronary care unit, or specialised cardiovascular service.

• Direct cardiac patient-care experience is strongly preferred.

• Cardiac nursing, ECG, BLS/ACLS training, or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
