General Purpose of the Job: This position is responsible for organizing the production of Broiler and table egg at Mojo Poultry Farm PLC.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that egg production run reliably and efficiently.
Planning and organizing Broiler and egg production schedules.
Train and supervise employees working at broiler and egg production facilities.
Implement systems and procedures to ensure manufacturing operations of the poultry farm meets production plans, product quality and cost standards.
Ensure quality orientation and identify quality improvement programs to improve the cost effectiveness of the manufacturing process for the farm.
Maintain all necessary records to ensure effective monitoring of the production process in the farm.
Assist the Operations Manager in the preparation of appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
Responsible for the succession planning and development of farm.
Make sure that production facilities and people are kept safe from potential harm.
Job Requirements
Qualification: BSC/MSC/PhD in Animal Production, Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Rural Development and Agricultural Extension, Poultry Science or DVM.
Experience: 8/7/5 years of relevant experience out of which 3 years in supervisory position in commerce.
