Elysian Hotel and Guest House is a newly established hospitality facility in Addis Ababa, featuring 45 guest rooms, a lobby bar, a breakfast service area, a gym, a spa, and a terrace. We are seeking dedicated, professional, customer-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our growing team. Successful candidates will contribute to delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of our hotel.

Food and Beverage Department
7. Cook
Job Summary: Prepare and present high-quality meals in accordance with the hotel’s menu, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to the approved menu and recipes.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
Monitor ingredients and inform management about stock requirements.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Relevant training or experience in cooking or food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and ingredient handling.
Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods.
Creativity, teamwork, and attention to food quality.
Experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
