What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee customs clearance processes for all imported goods, ensuring full compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations.

• Prepare and review import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of loading, and customs declarations.

• Liaise with customs brokers, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities to expedite clearance.

• Monitor changes in customs, tax, and trade regulations, updating procurement and logistics teams accordingly.

• Ensure correct classification and valuation of goods to avoid penalties or overpayment of duties etc

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Management or related field

• Years of Experience:  Minimum of 4 years of experience in customs clearance or regulatory compliance
