Job Description

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field of study.

Experience: Relevant experience in earthwork operations, excavation, and construction site supervision.

Quantity Required: 2

Site Operations & Excavation: Supervise daily site clearing, topsoil stripping, bulk excavation, trenching, foundation excavation, and backfilling activities.
Machinery & Fleet Management: Direct heavy equipment operators, including excavator, bulldozer, loader, roller, and grader operators, and coordinate dump truck haulage and dumping operations.
Grade & Level Control: Work closely with surveyors and site engineers to verify cut-and-fill depths, benching levels, slope angles, and compaction layers.
Labor & Safety Management: Assign daily tasks to laborers, supervise workforce activities, enforce trench safety measures, including shoring and sloping, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Resource & Equipment Tracking: Maintain daily records of equipment operating hours, fuel consumption, haulage loads, site weather conditions, and equipment operator attendance.
Work Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily earthwork progress, identify operational challenges, and report delays or site issues to the relevant supervisors.
Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, equipment operators, and other construction personnel to ensure efficient execution of earthwork activities.
