Emergency and Critical Care Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct emergency assessments, support triage and prioritize patient care.

• Provide specialized nursing care, stabilization and continuous monitoring of critically ill or injured patients.

• Participate in resuscitation and emergency interventions within the authorized scope of practice.

• Recognize clinical deterioration and promptly escalate care.

• Administer prescribed treatments safely, maintain accurate clinical records and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, safe emergency care.

• Provides education, training, and mentorship in emergency and critical care nursing to strengthen the knowledge and skills of fellow nurses and build the capacity of the nursing team

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

• BSc degree in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Valid professional lisence to practice in Ethiopia.

Experience:

• Experience in emergency, intensive care or acute-care services is an advantage.

Number of Positions: Three

Duty Station: Wolisso, Oromia, Ethiopia
