KADISCO General Hospital is seeking a qualified, motivated, and experienced Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (EOHS) Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) programs and policies.

• Ensure compliance with national health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Conduct workplace risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.

• Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with preventive measures.

• Conduct health and safety inspections and audits across hospital departments.

• Organize staff training on occupational health, safety, infection prevention, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.

• Monitor waste management, hazardous materials handling, and environmental compliance.

• Coordinate emergency response activities and promote a strong safety culture throughout the hospital.

• Maintain EOHS records, reports, and documentation.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health.
  Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and environmental regulations.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
