Guarantor Requirement: Selected candidates must be able to provide a sufficient guarantor according to company requirements.

Responsibilities
Plan, design, and implement farm layouts for fruits, and associated crops, ensuring optimal use of available land
Oversee the full farm cycle including land preparation, planting, nursery management, irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease control, harvesting, and post-harvest handling
Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and environmental factors, adjusting practices for maximum yield and quality.
Implement and supervise small- to large-scale irrigation systems, including pivot or drip systems, as suitable for the location .
Ensure adherence to sustainable agricultural practices and lean farm management principles to maintain cost efficiency and ecological balance
Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, train, and manage local farm staff, building their skills in crop management, irrigation, and harvesting techniques
Foster a productive and safe working environment while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Coordinate with agronomists, consultants, and local stakeholders to refine crop selection, rotation plans, and yield optimization
Planning and Reporting
Develop farm budgets, track expenses, and maintain records of farm operations, including daily progress reports, crop yields, and cost-control measures
Coordinate with procurement, finance, and engineering teams for farm infrastructure development, equipment maintenance, and supply chain management
Integrate farming activities into educational or community programs if part of development-focused organizations .
Job Requirements
Education
Required Skills and Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or related fields.
Extensive experience in fresh produce production or post-harvest management.
Knowledge of agronomy, pest management, crop yield optimization, and cold chain logistics.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Ability to analyze market trends, forecast demand, and manage budgets.
Proficiency in production management and inventory software is a plus.

Attention to detail in monitoring produce quality and compliance standards.
