Location:  Addis Ababa

Employment Type:  Permanent

Number of Positions:        1 (One) Position Summary:

• The Finance Manager leads the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax and customs

• compliance, strong internal controls and sound banking relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Manage tax declarations, customs payments and compliance with Ethiopian tax laws.

• Prepare budgets and financial forecasts and provide insights for management decisions.

• Manage banking relationships, cash flow and letters of credit.

• Strengthen internal controls and supervise the finance team.

• Support external audits.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 8+ years of experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as Finance Manager.

• Working experience in the import/export industry.

• Strong knowledge in accounting and finance, banking, tax and customs and clearing system.

• Proficiency in Peachtree Accounting Software & MS Excel and IFRS, Financial Reporting and Analysis.

• Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance is an added advantage.
