Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Finance Officer to manage financial operations while supporting import-related finance processes and documentation.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance with import finance follow-up.

• Experience with LC processing, import documentation, and Ethiopian banking procedures is an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Process payment vouchers, invoices, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

• Support budgeting, cash flow planning, and bank reconciliations.

• Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.

• Process Letters of Credit (LC), foreign payments, and banking transactions.

• Manage financial processes related to import and export transactions.

• Prepare and process import/export documentation and payments.

• Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customs, and logistics partners.

• Ensure compliance with import/export financial regulations and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of international transactions and related documents.

• Support reconciliation and reporting of import/export accounts.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
