Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description

Dina Food Processing is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join our team. The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain HACCP, ISO 22000, and other relevant quality systems.

• Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of the production facility to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

• Oversee the quality control of raw materials and finished products.

• Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality deviations, implementing corrective actions.

• Train staff on food safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.

• Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding certifications and inspections.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food manufacturing sector.

• Certified/having training certificate in HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 

• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian food safety regulations and international standards.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and leadership capabilities.
