Position: Head Chef

Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our culinary operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, guest satisfaction, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all kitchen operations and staff.
Develop and maintain menus, recipes, and food presentation standards.
Ensure food quality, consistency, portion control, and timely service.
Train, coach, and develop the kitchen team.
Manage food costs, inventory, requisitions, and wastage.
Monitor receiving, storage, labeling, and food handling.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Coordinate with F&B, Purchasing, and Stores teams.
Handle guest feedback related to food quality professionally.
Conduct menu costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
Introduce new dishes and seasonal menu items.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Food Production, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant culinary experience, including 2–3 years in a senior kitchen leadership role.
Experience in a 4-star/5-star hotel, resort, or high-volume operation is preferred.
Strong knowledge of local and international cuisine.
Proven skills in menu development, recipe standardization, food costing, and inventory control.
Professional culinary certification is an advantage.
