Green Scene Energy PLC is looking for a commercially minded Head of Business Development & Growth to lead our pipeline of institutional and commercial deals, grants and partnerships. This role suits someone from a business background, not primarily an NGO or donor background, with a strong record of closing deals and winning contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client-facing commercial pipeline and close deals across EPC, cooking, water pumping and consulting.

• Track competitors and market trends; brief leadership quarterly.

• Build institutional partnerships and manage investor relations, including the due-diligence data room.

• Sign off competitive positioning ahead of pricing decisions, working with the CTO and CFO.

• Lead and grow the Business Development team.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years business development experience in a commercial company, with verifiable contracts won.

• Experience in energy, infrastructure or a related sector is preferred.

• Comfortable running a sales pipeline in a CRM.

• Fluent written and spoken English.
