HR Generalist

Job Description

Job Summary

The HR Generalist supports daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, performance management, and compliance, ensuring effective HR service delivery across clinical and non-clinical departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR operations, employee records, contracts, and documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, orientation, and staff exits.
• Maintain HRIS records and prepare reports on headcount, attendance, leave, and turnover.
• Support manpower planning, performance appraisals, and employee development.
• Handle employee inquiries, workplace relations, and disciplinary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with department heads to improve staff productivity, engagement, and retention.
• Support HR audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant HR experience.
• Proven experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee administration.
• Healthcare experience is an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HR practices and labour laws.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
