Import Manager

Job Description

Our company invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant position.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Plan, manage, and coordinate the company’s overall import activities.

• Follow up import orders from purchase confirmation up to final delivery.

• Coordinate with international suppliers regarding orders, shipment schedules, and documentation.

• Follow up Letters of Credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfer (TT), and other import payment procedures.

• Prepare, review, and follow up import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other required documents.

• Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Follow up customs clearance and ensure the timely release of imported goods.

• Monitor import costs and take appropriate measures to improve cost efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with import procedures, regulations, and company policies.

• Prepare regular import status and performance reports for management.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills are required.

• Good knowledge of Incoterms, international trade procedures, and import documentation is required.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification:
BA/BSc Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Management, Economics, or related fields.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in import, international trade, logistics, or supply chain operations.
