Job Summary

Objective of the Assignment

The Internal Financial Controller will support EPOSEA in strengthening financial oversight, ensuring compliance, and enhancing transparency by providing independent financial review and reporting directly to the Board.

Scope of Work

• Conduct periodic financial reviews and internal audits
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
• Review financial statements and provide advisory support
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Prepare and present reports directly to the Board
• Visit the EPOSPEA office on a weekly basis

Job Requirement

• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Experience:
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with NGOs or associations is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations
  • Experience reporting to senior management or board
  • High level of integrity and professionalism

Reports To: General Manager / Board of Directors
