About EPOSEA

The Ethiopian Pulses and Oilseeds Exporters Association (EPOSEA) is a leading industry association representing exporters of pulses and oilseeds in Ethiopia.

The association plays a vital role in promoting sector competitiveness, policy advocacy, and market development for Ethiopian agricultural exports.

Objective of the Assignment

The Internal Financial Controller will support EPOSEA in strengthening financial oversight, ensuring compliance, and enhancing transparency by providing independent financial review and reporting directly to the Board.

Scope of Work

Conduct periodic financial reviews and internal audits
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
Review financial statements and provide advisory support
Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures
Prepare and present reports directly to the Board
Visit the EPOSPEA office on a weekly basis

Position: Internal Financial Controller

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: General Manager / Board of Directors

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
7–10 years of relevant experience
Experience with NGOs or associations is an advantage
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations
Experience reporting to senior management or board
High level of integrity and professionalism
