Job Description

GKP Construction and Import is seeking qualified, motivated, and committed candidates to join its team for the following positions:

IRRIGATION FOREMAN / ENGINEER

Employment Type: Contract

WORK LOCATION

Addis Ababa and/or Project Sites, as applicable

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Advanced Diploma or BSc Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related field.

• Practical experience in irrigation construction works.

• Minimum experience on at least one directly relevant irrigation project is required.

• Ability to supervise and coordinate site activities, workers, and subcontractors.

• Ability to ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and work schedules.

• Good knowledge of construction methods, measurements, and site documentation/reporting.

• Ability and willingness to work at project sites.
